Claim your organisation page
Take ownership of a RaffleLink page a fundraiser set up on your organisation's behalf.
Sometimes a fundraiser runs a raffle for your organisation on your behalf before you're on RaffleLink yourself. When that happens, RaffleLink creates a page for your organisation that nobody owns yet — an unclaimed page. Claiming it makes you an admin, so you control your page, your details, and any future raffles.
How you'll come across it
Two ways, usually:
- On your public page. An unclaimed organisation page shows a notice — "[organisation] hasn't claimed this page yet — it was set up by a fundraiser running a raffle on their behalf" — with a button: Are you [organisation]? Claim this page.
- By email. RaffleLink may email the contact on file a link to claim the page.

Claiming it
The point of claiming is to prove you control the organisation's email, so only the real organisation can take ownership. What happens when you start depends on whether a fundraiser's raffle is currently waiting on your signature.
The usual way
Start the claim (from the page button or your email link) and choose Email me the verification link. RaffleLink sends it to the address on file for the organisation — not one you type in — so only someone with access to that inbox can continue.
Open the link from that inbox. It's valid for 14 days.
Create your account (or sign in) — you'll be set up as an admin for the organisation, and taken straight to its dashboard.
If a fundraiser's raffle is waiting on your authorisation
Sometimes a fundraiser has already asked your organisation to authorise their raffle, and the Letter of Authority is still waiting for a signature. In that case, choosing Claim this page doesn't send a claim link. Instead, RaffleLink re-sends the authorisation email, and the page explains why: signing the authorisation "authorises the raffle and lets you claim this page in the same step — no separate claim link needed."
Inside the authorise wizard, the final step asks "Want to save your details for next time?"; choose Yes, create my account and you claim the page as part of signing.
Why the special case? The claim email and the authorisation email used to land in the same inbox looking near-identical, and organisations would claim their page while the fundraiser's raffle stayed blocked, still waiting on its signature. One email doing both jobs means the raffle can't be left behind.
Still holding an older claim link?
If a claim link was already sent and you complete it while an authorisation is open, you won't land on the dashboard. You'll be taken straight into the authorise wizard instead, so the fundraiser's raffle isn't left waiting.
Once the page is yours
Update your details, add your bank account, run your own raffles, and decide whether fundraisers' raffles need your approval. You may also want to verify your organisation to earn the verified badge.
Can't see the verification email?
It goes to the organisation's contact address on file, which might not be yours — check with whoever handles the organisation's email. If the link has expired, request a fresh one from the organisation page. Still stuck? Email support@rafflelink.com.
