The seller experience

A walkthrough of life as a Ticket Seller — from sign-in to switching raffles.

Last reviewed 31 August 2026

If you've been added as a Ticket Seller, this page is for you. RaffleLink has built the booth around the assumption that selling tickets is your whole job inside the platform, so a few things work a little differently from a regular sign-in.

Signing in goes straight to the booth

When you sign in (or first accept your invite), RaffleLink takes you directly to the booth. You won't see raffle dashboards, organisation settings, or analytics — those aren't part of your role. What you get is the place-an-order screen, ready for the next supporter.

If more than one raffle is open for you to sell on, you'll see a raffle switcher at the top of the booth — pick the one for the event you're at. The switcher shows only the raffles you can sell for, and only once each raffle's start date has arrived and while its sales aren't paused. It's not a list of everything the organisation runs.

What you can do

  • Place orders (the Place an order at the booth flow).
  • Manage the orders you've placed — view, edit a buyer's contact info, resend a confirmation, void an order. You see your own orders, not other sellers'.
  • Share your personal link — see below.

The booth menu has a Share My Link item. It opens a sheet with a link to the raffle page that's yours alone: online ticket sales that come through it are credited to you, counted alongside the orders you take in the booth. Copy it, share it with your groups, or use the phone's own share sheet where it offers one.

The sheet also shows a QR code for the same link — made for the buyer standing in front of you with no cash: they scan it and buy online on the spot, and the sale still counts as yours. Your organiser can see everyone's totals — in-person and via-link — on their seller leaderboard.

What you can't do

You can't edit raffle settings, prizes, tickets, payouts, or anything else outside the booth. If something needs changing on the raffle itself, ask an org admin or affiliate or, if you were invited by an organiser directly, ask them.

Switching raffles

If you're at an event running more than one raffle (or you switch between events on different days), use the raffle switcher in the booth header to pick which raffle you're selling for. It lists the raffles in your scope that have started and aren't paused, not every raffle in the organisation. Pick one, the page updates, and you're ready to take orders against the new raffle.

Switching organisations

If you've been added to more than one organisation as a Ticket Seller, the booth lets you switch between them too — the booth header has an organisation switcher beside the raffle one. Pick the organisation, then the raffle, and go.

Signing out

You sign out from the account menu, same as any RaffleLink account. Next time you sign in, you'll be straight back in the booth.
